OSHE/FNV Project in Action: Joint Trade Union Coordination Team formed in the Ship Breaking Industry of Bangladesh

Bangladesh Occupational Safety, Health & Environment Foundation (OSHE) was organized two national consultation workshop on awareness rising on OSH, asbestos, workers’ learns in ship breaking industry under the OSHE/FNV Ship Breaking Project on 18 November 2006 in Dhaka and 02 December 2006 in Chittagong separately.

The participants from the 8 different national federation representatives in Chittagong divisional committee were attended both workshops and formulated a net-work among them to take initiatives to improve the working condition of ship breaking industry and the workers according to project objectives and activities.
